  What is RtI? 

 

RtI is a process designed to help schools focus on high quality interventions that are matched to student needs and monitored on a frequent basis. 

The information gained from an RtI process is used by school personnel and parents to adapt instruction and to make decisions regarding the student’s educational program.

   What If My Child is Having Difficulty With 

    Academics or Behavior in School?   

 

  • Contact your child’s teacher and ask about RtI.
  • Discuss with your child any concerns you and/or the teacher have regarding academics or behavior.

01/05/2010 I really like the AIMSweb testing. I think it is a good tool, especially since it is done 3 times a year. The first testing (at least for my children) is never an accurate display of their abilities. By the next test in January and then finally the last test. You get a much more accurate picture of their abilities.

09/07/2010 I love the fact that I am able to see my child's progress throughout the year. It is a great tool to use so that I can see where she needs improvement and we can work on those particular areas throughout the year. It is also awesome to see how your child has improved each time the test is taken.
