Class Information:

We begin the year covering basic skills and building a foundation for future writing. We start with descriptive writing, work into narrative, and proceed into persuasive, and finally expository.

Throughout the year we work on complete sentences, fragments, run-on sentences, comma splices, and rambling sentences. We work on the eight parts of speech, capitalization,and punctuation.

We learn to work cooperatively in groups and respect each other as individuals.

Each year students amaze me with their creativity and insight. This will be a great year in seventh grade language arts!
