Welcome to Mr. Younger's Music Class!
The students in Mendota receive 45 minutes of music instruction each week.
During this time the students are taught how to sing without damaging their voices, how to read music, and how to play basic classroom instruments. They also learn about music from other cultures and the history of music in America. Listening to new and different music is also a part of our music curriculum, as is developing a vocabulary to discuss music intelligently.
