Welcome To Farm Friends!

Farm Friends is the current name of the self contained classroom at Blackstone School. Our classroom consists of kindergarten and first grade students that need academic services to facilitate their learning abilities.

To do this, we incorporate some of the academics their peers use, such as Phonemic Awareness lessons. The students are also exposed to the basic sight words for more reading mastery. The two reading series we use are SRA Language For Learning and SRA Reading Mastery.

Farm Friend students attend art, music, physical education, lunch and homeroom with their peers. This gives the students an opportunity to work with different teachers and socialize with their peers.

We are looking forward to a fun and exciting learning year!
