ISAT Testing - March 5-9
District #289 Testing March 5 - 9
District #289 parents should be aware that all students in grades 3 – 8 are going to be testing in some form starting Monday, March 5th. During the time of March 5th through March 9th, students in the district will be taking the ISAT state tests. Individual test results will be sent home at a later date describing your child’s performance on the testing.
Parents are asked to try very hard to be sure that their children are in attendance during this time. Please avoid vacations and appointments during these weeks, since it is very difficult to make up testing that is missed. Children should be encouraged to do their best, but not to worry about the tests. Plenty of rest and a good breakfast are also especially helpful during testing.
